Question Everything: Is Google too powerful?

Google may be against censorship, but is Google getting too big for its britches?
As a rich and powerful multinational, who does Google answer to? Anyone?
Are we in danger of becoming ruled by Google and similar multinationals who can flout the laws of one country by simply relocating services to another which may be more compliant or more easily bought? Is our only freedom in future going to be the freedom to do what we are told? And who decides this?

Those are my questions for today. Please think about them and make your opinions known, not just to me, but to those who can do something about it.
