New Windows Theme: Beaches

A more familiar Windows Theme... here are the pictures for it....

Create a new folder named DesktopBackground (as shown) and put these into it and then put that folder into one called Beaches. Then use the same instructions described here on Tuesday (the Mars theme) to make another new theme for your Windows 10 (or Windows 8 or Windows 7). Windows 10 doesn't have a lot of choices of desktop themes yet, so that's why I'm suggesting we make our own and install them ourselves. It's easy, and you can use any pictures you like as long as you have them sized to match your Desktop's native resolution. If you aren't sure what yours is, you can find out by going into Control Panel, to the Display feature.

In Display, in the left margin, click on the words 'Adjust Resolution' and that will show you this....

The Resolution shown as "recommended" is your native resolution, which is the image size measured in pixels of your monitor's display screen. Mine seems small, even though this display I'm using is a 30-inch flat screen TV. Evidently, pixels come in different sizes, because this works fine for me. And that's how you can find all this on yours.

Enjoy your new theme.
