This is Insanity....

As another recent article said, there are young people on both sides of that border who have never spoken to anyone on the other side of it, and may not.

To someone like myself, half a world away, reading or watching news about this for most of my adult life, this seems insane for several reasons. First, there is probably nobody alive today who was there when this all began in about 1922. Second, neither the Jews nor the Palestinians are going away. Third, this is a hell of a waste of people and resources that might much better be used for more constructive purposes. Fourth, nothing will ever be settled without the people on both sides talking to each other. 

Lack of contact breeds misinformation, fantasy, fear, and just plain stupidity, so talk to one another. With today's technology, that should be easy. But first, stop shooting. That isn't helping, and by now that ought to be painfully obvious. That's been going on for decades already and there's no evidence that it has convinced anyone to surrender, so give it up, because it isn't working.
