Astrophysically speaking.....
The obvious question, and one that Uncle Albert and I will never answer, is:- Who or what triggered the Big Bang? The next being: Why? And the third one being: Where does that leave us in the scheme of things?
Like I mentioned in a previous rant, when we let our minds wander "out there" far enough, and begin considering questions the nature of which touch on some or all of science, religion, philosophy, fact and fiction we quickly realize that the nature of our existence and the whereabouts of that existence do not have a great number of definite, concrete, verifiable and positive answers. And the guy who said that of the total knowledge available from the known universe, ours is presently merely about four percent, he was probably right. And "four percent intelligent" doesn't even put us in the 'idiot' category.
