Once upon a time, on a small foreign planet, not so far away...

Because: It's a movie for kids from six to ninety-six, and anyone under the age of 37 wasn't even born yet when that first one hit movie screens in 1977, and its original young stars are now grandparents, or could be. I've loved Star Wars for almost half my life, and so have my kids, but that doesn't necessarily mean that everything old should be new again, and it certainly doesn't mean that anyone gets a second chance to make a first impression.
