Gas prices: Yours and mine...
If you think U.S. prices are high, be thankful you aren't in Canada....
...where my nearest Chevron shows 147.9 per liter, and here in Canada, there are 4.54 liters per gallon, for a total of $6.7146 per gallon of regular.
There are two reasons why gas prices are still rising:-
1.) Suppliers are greedy.
2.) They're trying to limit our use of it, to both stretch out the diminishing supplies, and reduce our carbon footprint. Both of those are noble goals, but do not take into consideration the emerging demands of developing nations who all want what we've enjoyed for decades. So the smog gets worse, while we pay more while failing to limit climate change. Are we smart, or what?
