Using the little Speakeasy logo in the right-hand margin on here, I've just tested mine, and this Acer AM5100 using Windows 7 Ultimate as its operating system is performing as follows:-
Downloads at 365.1 Kb/sec.
Uploads at 86.1 Kb/sec.
This is on a service that provides 3 Gb ADSL, and it's much faster than just a few years ago.
