I like to answer questions....

Lawrence Martin in a column in today's Globe and Mail from Toronto titled "How 'Iffy' and the Liberals dropped the ball" asks the question "How did it come to this?" Here's my answer:-

Dear Editor:

Lawrence Martin asks, "How did it come to this?"

It came to this because the average voter these days
isn't as clueless as those professional politicians
believe us to be. We've already made it clear that
we're all electioned-out, and we're tired of having
these consummate two-faced lyin' bastards repeatedly
pissing away $300-plus millions on indecisive games
of 'Silly Buggers' at the expense of getting on with
the nation's business and doing what we thought we
were paying them to do.

That's how it came to this.
