I like writing Letters To The Editor - any Editor....

It's my way of keeping my writing skills honed - in case I do have some.

In today's on-line Toronto Star, which I used to deliver every morning back home, during the Second World War,  some 65 years ago now, there's a toot-your-own-horn article all about the Google Street View now including Toronto. A balloon calls for a pin, so here's mine:-

Dear Editor:

So's Beautiful B.C.'s Vancouver,
and Montreal, potholes and all.

So quit bragging.

Toronto is still the nation's greatest
waste of reinforced concrete. Too bad
you hadn't shown Montrealers how to do that.
