Just looking...
...for any donated snacks to fend off starvation. Actually, these little guys are probably the best-fed crows in town. They not only get their natural diet, but people ignore the house rules here, and treat them to cookies, cereal, and bread. They thrive on 75% whole wheat, and they enjoy a few slices of Chunky Cheese Bread periodically. They can airlift that stuff all over the neighborhood in mere minutes, and they like to fly over to a neighbor's roof, so they can dunk the munchies in some water in the eavestrough so they'll slide down easier. These guys are not stupid - they know all the tricks. One even caught a slice of bread in midair one morning, and I wish I could've got that on film.

That empty bench just cries for a beautiful señorita sitting on it waiting to be photographed!!
ReplyDeleteAlas, Monsieur, where she is, je n'en ai pas la moindre idee and I apologize for this English keyboard not having the proper accents for writing French - (in case I ever learn that language!)
ReplyDeleteWhen this huge place with its many rooms and many curtained windows was first built, I wondered if it might be another of those upscale pot farms we've been reading about around here. But since then, I've seen a young woman and a couple of little kids there, along with a guy who drives an expensive pickup truck and a car or two. Tradespeople come and go, and they even put in an irrigation system for what I'd call a rather small yard - considering that the house now takes up a large chunk of that property. Obviously, it's nice to have money.
The closest to a pretty girl on that bench was earlier in the summer, when a cute young thing on
a gardening crew was bent over it
in her short-shorts, pruning the shrubs behind it. No nubile young stuff in bikinis, or anything :(
You're having your camera ready yeah? Just in case... To prolong the fun, hehe. Some sweety might sit down there some day....
ReplyDelete"Some sweetie might sit down there someday..."
ReplyDeleteI might not live that long, and even if I do, I'm totally invisible to any
gal under the age of 70 - and there are damned few of those that could start any action on my applause meter - Barbarella being one notable exception. She still looks great.
