I have a bad feeling about this. It reminds me of the mid-1990s when Canon upgraded a computerized portable word processor, and made it into the world's best of the breed, but it hit the market at almost the same time as Windows 95, which grabbed all the attention and sales, and Canon's wonderful little machine became obsolete before it was even fully introduced to the market. Too bad, because it was a great piece of technology. I've still got mine, and it still works just as well as the first day I unpacked it. But now, unfortunately, I can't get the ribbons for it.
It can print 20 languages, and do mathematical formulas, and spread sheets, and if it had a fax built in, I could throw away the PC. But that's how it goes sometimes.... it's a dog-eat-dog world out there, and there's no prize for Number Two.
This is not looking good for the future of my Blackberry... :-(
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid you might be right, Tom...
