Now let's look at Canadian politicians....

You can read the whole sad story here, but first, please let me assure my American cousins that you don't have any monopoly on less-than-perfect politicians. Here in Canada, we have a few who like to bite the hand that feeds them too. 

When you're already living in Ottawa, quite handy to the houses of Parliament, you shouldn't really need to claim special allowance for housing because your principal residence is more than a hundred clicks away from there - and these 
cuties Duffy and Wallin both had their snoots in the trough to the tune of many
thousands of dollars - Wallin over a hundred thousand, and Duffy not too far behind her. Both these schemers are former nationally-known high profile media types familiar to all of us - or so we thought. Just goes to show we can't tell a commentator by his or her winning smile on the evening news, for sure.

Personally, I think we ought to tar & feather them both, and then run them out of town tied to the back of a fast-moving garbage truck. For years, they both cackled and smirked whenever others got caught with their sticky fingers in the public's purse, and here they are setting a new national record for the same things. I'd kick them both out of the Senate so swiftly, they'd bounce as they hit the sidewalk.
