Yesterday was Patch Tuesday, and there are 23 for Windows 7 and 19 for Windows 8, plus a couple of optionals, depending on what's on yours. And if your Automatic Updates work like mine, you may want to select them, and give it a short sharp kick-start to get your updates actually updating.
