What's behind the curtain?

American politics has always been a blood sport, and I fervently hope the President is doing his homework on the guys behind the curtain, pulling the strings to make life as difficult as possible for him. Here's a good place to start.
These guys have tentacles everywhere, including a semi-famous 'think tank' here in Vancouver, called The Fraser Institute, spouting libertarian and far-right spin-doctoring to the unwashed masses. The Koch brothers evidently are busy trying to influence and/or control the political activities of America by buying the talent that they deem appropriate for the purpose. They pledged a reported $60-million in the 2012 electoral season to defeat Barack Obama. 

Maybe President Obama ought to directly confront these two crafty manipulators
and get them out from behind their curtain. Or at least shine a spotlight at their inner sanctum so the public understands who has been pulling their strings, and why.
