The 'God' particle, and my boundless scientific ignorance...

As long as I'm exhibiting my scientific ignorance this morning, I may as well go 'all out' and say that when it comes to the 'God Particle', "You ain't seen nothin' yet, Folks!".

I have a theory, ( one of many) that says 'You can't make a Something by combining two Nothings'. So along the physical continuum, only a mere fraction of which is visible or detectable to us, there's probably a virtual infinity of things both larger and smaller than we're presently able to detect. And God probably designed it this way for a very good reason. So we can't interfere with enough of it to do any real or lasting damage, except to ourselves.
