ReplyDeleteWhat did I say in my vanished comment? If I remember well I said I deleted the (good) ublock because they stopped updating the malware ad section because they want a few Euros from Monsieur. I´ve never seen any pop-ups until today anyway, so why should I need a blocker if there´s nothing coming through which needs blocking. Maybe the reason is I´m using Apple OS and Safari. Not the main target for ads, obviously.

Ich werde alt ... Ich dachte, Sie haben sich über Werbung und Müll auf dem Bildschirm beschwert. Um zu zeigen, was ich an Computern nicht vergessen habe, habe ich 'uBlock Origin' vorgeschlagen, da es auf fast allem funktioniert, einschließlich 'Safari' bis 13. Aber Sie sind wahrscheinlich schon jenseits von 'Safari 13'. Ich sollte mich nicht so sehr bemühen, ein großer Showoff zu sein ... Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Tag, Paco ...
ReplyDeleteWhilst at it: what’s REALLY annoying these days is the “allow cookies” intro template which appears EACH AND EVERY TIME you dial to a website. I think this also has to do because I’m running my Safari on private mode, meaning Safari will forget all temporary cookies as soon as the computer is switched of. So the cookie questionnaire will appear again next time, and next time, and next time when I dial to that site.
