Google's 'New Look'...

My Blogger pal Monsieur Beep in Germany tells me we should continue with our Blogs, because these may very well outlive us, and be recorded for posterity, and for the benefit
of the curious at some future time.

This being in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, one might be forgiven for wondering
how much future there is for homo sapiens on this minor planet of a so-so solar system in an outer arm of a spiral galaxy somewhere in the space/time continuum. A nasty little planet where we can do everything but get along with one another well enough to avoid complete annihilation.

  1. Thanks for mentioning the Monsieur!

It´s all part of the normal, almost eternal game. Nature seems to care a lot about establishing a well-functioning universe, and has succeeded extremely well so far. It really doesn´t matter if there´s one more or one less habitable planet among trillions of others (my scientific amateurism hints so). It´s all part of Nature´s perfect plan and evolution / extinction tool, and LIFE WILL CONTINUE, at least for lots of billions of years (even after the unit "year" will have become meaningless, after Earth will have disintegrated in a boiling sun. What do WE know......

Conscious thinking as we know it is supported by strings and fields: No strings (atoms, molecules, cells (neurons)), no fields (electric) - NO THINKING (as we know and do it). We seem to be objects this side of the "wall of knowledge and control" while the main control centre appears to be BEYOND that wall.

Maybe we´re able to check what´s beyond "the wall" between one of the interim phases before another cycle of existence is dedicated to us and we get back into wondering and yearning for t

No need to worry, after all. We've made it till here, and Nature (a proxy??) will take us by the hand (or whatever else) and lead us.

    Take care!
