First, the bad news.... then, moving on....

Before Judy Garland and her 'Wizard of Oz' there was Shirley Temple and her great singing and dancing with actors like Buddy Ebsen, and those of us of a certain age grew up with her movies. May she rest in peace.

This kinda restores my faith in the Great Unseen.....where my Karma runs over your Dogma, and leaves tire-tracks on your Ego.....and a nasty smell in the air.

And last but not least, this just in from 'Uncle Bill', the father of 'Patch Tuesdays' and other time-consuming tricks for not getting something productive done on your new multi-core Whatchamacallit, with its multi-touch screen and its cover that doubles as a sandwich tray, and its mouse that looks like a drinks coaster,
and its keyboard that hides in its system tray.

Dear 'Uncle Bill' - Aren't you glad your name is 'Gates' instead of 'Drawbridge'
or 'Stile' or 'Damaramahama of BungaBunga'? And about this 'Product Work'.....
Have you ever considered Unix as a viable alternative to Patch Tuesdays and the Malicious Software Removal Tool? The nastiest malicious software I can recall ever running into was something called 'Windows Vista Ultimate' and I sure hope I never tangle with anything as bad as that again! Will your new position on top of the corporate pecking order have a positive influence on the avoidance of similar catastrophes? We fervently hope so!
