Something added......

One of the really fun things about this Unix system PC-BSD is that it comes with a selection of several different Desktops, ranging from the standard everybody-gets-this-one, to ones like the above, with its own entirely different appearance, its own themes, backgrounds, and even its own unique icons - so if you switch, it's like a whole other computer program, which it is.

And once you've downloaded and installed each of these optional Desktops, you can choose which one to boot into when your login screen comes up at the start and to change from one to another, just do a reboot, and make a new choice when it comes time to log on. Your personal files and folders are all exactly where you left them, but their appearance may be changed by your new selection's choices of color schemes and themes, giving it a whole new look.

And for those wondering, "No, Virginia, you can't get this in Windows....at least not until Windows 9 or maybe Windows 10, and only then if Uncle Bill is keeping his eye on the competition's advanced technology."

"Where's the Taskbar Panel?" you ask... - See that little white 'handle' down in the lower left corner? With the little arrow pointing to the right? If you click on that, the missing stuff reappears instantly. There's one of those 'handles' on each end of it, so you don't need to have it showing until you need something.
As you see, it makes for a nice clean, uncluttered desktop. Don't you wish you had one of these? Here's where to look for it.

I forgot to mention - while choosing the background image for this, it is even configurable for the foreground and background colors, so you can set those to whatever pleases you. We want you to be happy!
