An often-taken picture, with an explanation of it...

This is a picture I seem drawn to taking, every time I'm on the pier at Lawson Park, along the West Van waterfront. One reason for that is that I worked at this site on the waterfront for about three years, back in the 1990s, on its 'rent-a-cop' security service, provided at that time by our B.C. Corps of Commissionaires, an all-ex-military force, dedicated to keeping us Old Farts off the welfare rolls and park benches, and gainfully employed, even if for 'peanuts', and mostly during the nights, when the 'bad guys' seem to like being out and about. I wouldn't say that I'm 'intimately familiar' with all of that site at Vancouver Wharves, because there's been ownership changes and modernizations since I was there, but back then, I knew it like the palm of my hand. And it still catches my eye, looking at local scenery.

This is what you're looking at in that whole scene..... ( for those interested!)

And this is where all that relates to Mount Baker (background, above) and the whole U.S. of A. in general..... and 'in general' it hasn't been relating nearly as well as it does in our 'default' relationship, which we ought to get back to, ASAP.

And we probably wouldn't have left that 'default relationship status' of being 'Friends With Benefits' had it not been for the 2016 election of 'Old Jurassic Bark', notable mainly for his habit of sitting on his ample ass on his toilet in the wee hours of the morning, and playing with.... (No, not that - he's too old now!).... his smartphone! Tweeting brainless comments all over the world, to stir up more shit than he could personally put down that toilet in a million years!
The guy's a NUTCASE ! Whoever let him into the Oval Office should be severely dealt with, pronto! Preferably, before World War Three begins. Get the picture?
