Browser privacy add-on named 'Disconnect'...
Today, I added the browser add-on chosen by the New York Times as best out of four they tested for managing privacy and protecting against trackers on the sites that we visit. It works by 'blacklisting' many sites, except a known safe few, and so while using it, you may have to pause frequently at first to go onto its little control bar icon, for a drop-down which offers buttons you can use to 'whitelist' (or unblock) a blocked site, or conversely, perhaps 'blacklist' (block) one. After a while, I expect everything will be configured for my tastes on here, and I won't need to pause and reflect so often on whether to do one or the other for the usual sites that I visit. The 'Disconnect' drop-down looks like this -
There's a version of this add-on for Firefox and Opera browsers, the ones that I like to use here, as well as others. Check their website for yours... and as Martha Stewart used to say, "it's a good thing!" (Whatever happened to her anyway? She used to be more popular that sliced bread, and then Poof! - Gone! ..... Martha, where are you?)
Moving along here, this is another of my many changes of backgrounds on here. This one's main color is Lapis Lazuli, a favorite of all us Ancient Egyptians, and you too can have some if you use its correct color codes, which are as follows:-
The RGB Code for it is 38-97-156, and the Hex Code is 26619c.
