Tom asks "What's that icon in the lower left on the taskbar" - Let's find out...
Here's what happens when you click it. You get "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, and Something Blue!" It's a little like a cross between the Windows 7 Start Menu, and the Windows 8 Start Screen, and yet it doesn't blot out the sun on a clear day. It gives you everything you need, and not a whole lot of superfluous stuff you might never use. I like it! You will too.
"So where's the Shutdown and Restart Buttons?" you ask....
Just click on that little Power symbol to the right of your name, and up they come from the depths of cyberspace. (Now you know why I made those two shortcuts for the Desktop! It's Quicker! Like kissing a duck's ass without getting a mouthful of feathers...) Does this answer your question, Tom?

ReplyDeleteHeaven to bid we'd cal them what they really are, programs. But I guess Apps are the wave of the future..
