We start off from home, of course, and if it wasn't overcast and raining right now, this is how the sky would look at noon today in Vancouver....
And since we can see the Moon, let's go there, where it happens to be night on the spot where we land, and from there, we can see Mars - so let's go there....
We landed on the dark side of Mars too, so we decided to move on to its moon Deimos, where we get a better view of familiar objects in the sky....
...like Earth and its moon ( enlarged with the zoom feature) and this made us feel homesick, so we decided to come back home....
...and here we are, right back where we started from, ready for lunch! So how did you enjoy your little trip? This is just some of the things you can do with this planetarium program for your own computer. It's really neat. You can be your own astronaut.
