This Comet doesn't look like a Snowball !
This doesn't look much like a ball of ice crystals or snowflakes. It looks a lot more like maybe shattered ice, or perhaps a mixture of ice and soil and rocks....
And just maybe, it might once have been part of the surface of Mars, before it got destroyed by that Pluto-sized meteoroid which punctured its crust about three and a half billions of years ago.
Too bad we can't bring home a truckload of this stuff, to look through it for signs of past life forms. Fish, maybe, or plankton or algae.... we might be surprised by what we'd find.
